Marketing With a Personal Touch
As most of you know, I’m a big believer in having 12 to 18 meaningful contacts with clients and prospects annually. These contacts occur through personal meetings, phone conversations, newsletters, email marketing, texting, client events, etc.
For some reason, one of the most compelling “meaningful contact” tools has been lost or forgotten, the handwritten thank you note. Thank you notes help transcend the “Advisor/Client” relationship to a more personal friend/friend relationship. A handwritten thank you note takes just a couple of minutes longer than an email and never gets deleted.
