Critical Online Content – Your Biography
Every financial advisor’s biography should have three elements: business, community, and personal. Each section should be about three to four sentences in length and should stress what makes you stand out in each area.
Think about what makes you interesting. When you are introduced to strangers, what interesting information do you want them to know about you within 5 to 10 minutes of conversation?
Remember, your website and social media bios are your virtual first introduction to some very important people, namely people who have been referred to you. When one of your satisfied clients refers friends or colleagues to you, more than 92% of those people will first look up your website to validate who you are and what you do before they contact you.
