Does Your Marketing Meet Client and Prospect Expectations?
Generally, financial advisors have two types of marketing resources available to them, inbound marketing and outbound marketing. Often times one will complement the other. Examples of inbound marketing resources are your business website and social media channel presence, where clients and prospects are prompted to visit you. Outbound marketing tools include email marketing, direct mail, and printed and/or digital newsletters.
Outbound marketing is where you take the responsibility to send out meaningful content, usually to a targeted population of clients and prospects. Outbound is a great catalyst to excite interest in others to visit your inbound marketing platforms or contact you directly. Content, frequency, and targeting criteria are all variables that will influence your success and help meet the expectations of your clients and prospects.
